Our RIBs
Portsmouth Boat Rides operate identical, matched 8.0 m commercial Ribs.
Our RIBs (RHIBs – Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats) are all Ribeye 785S models, operationally based at Gunwharf Quays, in Portsmouth and are all Maritime and Coast Guard Agency licensed to carry a maximum of 11 passengers (not incl.crew)
They carry full MCA safety equipment and comm’s, and are coded MCA Cat.3 for day and night time passages.
The Ribs all have either 250HP or 300HP 4-stroke fuel efficient engines and are fitted with 300l fuel tanks. All have an offshore life raft, Raymarine chart plotter and depth sounder, an Icom VHF with AIS,
Gas monitoring systems and 4 separate fire extinguisher / surpressors. The boats have full safety equipment and high-quality auto-inflating life jackets for the full complement (plus 2 spare) are always carried.

Our branded Ribs are seen daily departing from and arriving at Gunwharf Quays Marina between April and October every year.
